Scenario: if you are using a webcam on your computer for virtual live sessions ( Teams, Zoom or MLTV ) and the microphone doesn't seem to work for no reason.
Solution: Unplug the webcam USB cable from the USB port of the computer and plug it back in to reinstate the functionality.
